CELEBRATING LUNAR NEW YEAR WITH A SOLAIRE SPECTACLE

To celebrate Chinese New Year 2025 with scale and spectacle, Solaire North partnered with ExtraPro by Trustfall, to create a bespoke 30-second 3D anamorphic animation for its landmark LED facade in Quezon City. Positioned at a highly visible corner of the integrated resort, the installation was conceived as a dynamic visual moment that would captivate audiences from multiple vantage points while reflecting the brand’s identity and commitment to immersive luxury experiences. With an ambitious timeline of just eight weeks, the project required a seamless fusion of cultural storytelling, technical precision, and bold creative execution.

From the outset, the team embarked on a collaborative discovery process, aligning on a visual direction that balanced traditional Chinese symbolism with contemporary digital artistry. Drawing inspiration from iconic motifs such as dragons, lanterns, and fireworks, the concept evolved into a layered narrative that also subtly integrated elements of Solaire North’s offerings, from gaming to elevated food and beverage experiences. Each sequence was meticulously designed to interact with the architecture of the facade, leveraging 3D anamorphic techniques to create depth, illusion, and a sense of movement that extended beyond the physical screen.

As production progressed, continuous iterations refined the animation’s motion, lighting, and spatial composition to ensure optimal performance on the unique corner LED display. In the final stages, on-site testing and calibration played a critical role, with real-time adjustments made alongside technical teams to align the content precisely with viewing angles and environmental conditions. The result was a seamless integration of digital content and physical space, transforming the facade into a living canvas.

Launched in time for the festivities, the final piece emerged as a vibrant centerpiece of Solaire North’s Chinese New Year celebration, capturing attention, delighting audiences, and elevating the property’s presence within the city’s entertainment landscape. By merging cultural resonance with cutting-edge visual storytelling, Lunar Fiesta redefined the role of the media facade—not just as a display, but as an evolving, experiential landmark.
