The Art of Ambience
Engineering a Next-Generation Legal Presentation Environment
2025 | LAS VEGAS
REDEFINING THE MODERN COURTROOM THROUGH ADVANCED AV INTEGRATION
For Naqvi Injury Law in Las Vegas, the objective was to transform a traditional legal environment into a high-performance presentation and training space. Designed as a fully integrated “courtroom layout” auditorium, the project required a seamless blend of video, audio, and control systems to support depositions, case presentations, and internal training. The result is a sophisticated AV ecosystem that elevates how legal teams communicate, present, and operate within a modern office setting.
At the core of the system is a large-format LED video wall, driven by a dedicated auditorium PC and supported by flexible input options, including a stage-side HDMI interface for external sources. Content delivery is powered through vMix for live switching and playback, alongside Office 365 integration for streamlined presentation workflows. This infrastructure allows for dynamic, real-time control of visual content, enabling attorneys to present complex case materials with clarity and precision.
The audio system was engineered to match the unique demands of a courtroom environment, with custom microphone placements across key positions including the plaintiff and defendant desks, witness stand, jury box, and judge’s bench. Professional speaker tuning was implemented to ensure balanced, intelligible sound throughout the space—critical for both live proceedings and recorded sessions. Supporting this is a robust control and connectivity backbone, utilizing shielded Cat6a and coaxial cabling to maintain signal integrity across all systems.
A key feature of the installation is the integration of robotic camera systems, enabling automated tracking and multi-angle capture for depositions and presentations. These cameras also serve as remote “eyes,” allowing off-site system management and adjustments in real time. Combined with Q-Sys control integration, the platform provides a centralized, user-friendly interface for managing all AV components.
Despite construction and scheduling challenges, the final implementation was executed through a structured commissioning process, including system calibration, programming, and end-user training. To support immediate client needs, a temporary solution was deployed ahead of completion, enabling the firm to conduct a live deposition using surveillance footage—demonstrating both flexibility and responsiveness in delivery.
To maximize the impact of the LED environment, custom content strategies were developed, including full-screen virtual courtroom and cityscape backdrops, as well as branded layouts with picture-in-picture functionality. These capabilities transform the space into a dynamic, multi-purpose environment tailored to both legal proceedings and internal operations.
The result is a fully integrated digital courtroom that redefines how legal professionals engage with technology. More than an AV installation, the Naqvi project establishes a new benchmark for legal environments—combining precision engineering, intuitive control, and immersive visual communication to enhance performance at every level.
