HOW LAVIE CASINO’S LOBBY BECAME AN IMMERSIVE DESTINATION
KMC Solutions, one of the Philippines’ leading workspace and flexible office providers, approached ExtraPRO, in collaboration with Trustfall Technology Group, to create a permanent digital display installation that would serve as a dynamic visual centerpiece for their new office lobby at One Ayala Mall, Makati.
The goal was clear: deliver a striking digital content platform without compromising visibility, aesthetics, or architectural integrity—a display that could function as a content hub, yet remain elegant and almost invisible when not in use.
KMC sought a non-traditional solution—a video wall that was:
- Transparent enough to preserve open views inside and out
- Visually dynamic when active, yet subtle and architectural when idle
- Engineered for seasonal and promotional content without becoming visual noise
- Budget-conscious but still cutting-edge
We began by conducting a thorough needs analysis with KMC—evaluating their aesthetic, functional, and technical requirements. Based on this, we proposed a custom-designed P2.9 transparent LED mesh system, offering:
- High-resolution video capability
- Minimal light obstruction
- A clean, architectural footprint that blended with the existing facade
The solution required sourcing specialized components from our manufacturing partners in Shenzhen, integrating Novastar control systems, and developing a discreet backend enclosure to conceal all electronics and cabling—ensuring the final product was both sleek and technically robust.
This project was completed on a fast-track 6-week schedule, including:
- Custom engineering + LED mesh fabrication
- Coordination with overseas manufacturers
- International shipping, importation, and logistics
- On-site installation, calibration, and structural integration
Every detail—from pixel pitch to mounting tolerance—was precision-calibrated to fit the exact width of the lobby glass, delivering a truly seamless final result.
Though compact in scale, this project stands out as a powerful case of high-impact digital design on a smart budget. The final installation offers KMC a dynamic platform for branding, events, and storytelling—without compromising the transparency and openness of their office environment.The result is architectural media at its best: functional, beautiful, and entirely unique within the Philippine office landscape.
